Research relates to ecology of the species and the fish settlements,
on their dynamics and their vulnerability with the anthropic disturbances. The methodologies put in?uvre cover a broad pallet, since the traditional techniques of ichtyology until the development
of original models. Examples of research tasks

Work before is very developed on the lake ichtyofaune, but they also include the compartments ensuring the primary production and benthic fauna invertebrates.

* Functional characterization of the lake communities

The team tends towards multidisciplinary research by these actions undertaken on the various biotic compartments but also by an opening on the economic and social context in which the policies of management of the water levels fit.


Valorization and expertise the research tasks are developed in term of support to the public policies in particular in the accompaniment of the MEDD and the Agencies of Water for the installation of the water level DCE.
